KASSAKLOCKA - Payrise Alarm Clock
KASSAKLOCKA is an interactive childrens’ alarm clock designed in the style of IKEA, that uses tokens to incentivise children to get out of bed at the correct time, promoting independence and giving parents the time to prepare for their own busy days.
The clock helps children build strong time and money saving habits through a multi-stage alarm system, classical music and a token dispensing remote off switch.

Development started with individual ideation, with each group member producing a concept. My concept was Payrise the reward system alarm clock
An idea was selected from the concepts developed by the group members, in this case the Payrise alarm clock was chosen. The product was reimagined and redesigned to fit the IKEA brand, under the name KASAKLOCKA, complete with packaging, a user guide, product compliance information and a full understanding of manufacture and assembly
A fully working prototype was manufactured as a proof of concept
