Snap + Scribble is a toy developed through research, in order to increase the mental resilience of children.
The rise of technology and social media has led to declining resilience in younger generations, with reduced face-to-face interaction, increased school loneliness, and less outdoor activity impacting mental well-being. Additionally, hyper-stimulating content and excessive screen time are diminishing creativity, memory, and problem-solving abilities, weakening overall resilience, making children more susceptible to anxiety and depression in later life.
Snap + Scribble helps improve mental resilience in children aged 9-11 by fostering creativity, optimism, and self-efficacy through a combination of a two-photo-a-day printing camera and a sensory-prompted journal.
The product encourages outdoor exploration, positive reflection, and emotional regulation, helping children build stronger memories and reduce stress. By integrating daily routines with creative activities, Snap + Scribble promotes anticipation and structure, essential for developing mental resilience.
